Heated cascading settling filter for continuous honey clarification without clogging. It gently warms the flow to lower viscosity, lets wax and debris rise to the surface and delivers cleaner honey to your tanks. Built from AISI 304 stainless steel with digital temperature control and electronic level sensor for safe operation with a transfer pump.

Details of Heated 1.6 m honey settling tank with level sensor LYSON

1.6 m cascade settling tank, heated by zones, with a level sensor to govern the pump: 1 mm AISI 304 stainless steel.

The bottleneck in extraction is rarely the spinner: it is the filter that clogs. This machine does not strain the honey, it settles it. Honey enters the first compartment, warms and moves over cascading baffles; wax and debris rise and clean honey passes underneath. No mesh to block.

01 · NOT A FILTER: IT SETTLES

And that is why it does not clog halfway through the day

A filter separates by size and saturates: sooner or later wax closes it and you stop to clean. Here separation is by flotation, so the flow does not fall as impurities build up: they stay on top and are skimmed when it suits.

If you also want a sieving stage, there is a stainless mesh insert made for this settling tank in our range. But the machine works without it, and that is the whole point.

02 · 55 °C BELONGS TO THE MACHINE

The honey stays well below

The thermostat takes 30 to 55 °C, but that is the appliance's range, not the product's margin: above 40 °C honey rises in HMF and loses diastase. The working band is the usual 35-40.

What is right is how it heats: 1,040 W split between two 300 W elements in the central baffles and a 440 W cord in walls and base, with three independent controllers. Heat spread out instead of a hot spot.

03 · THE SENSOR CALLS THE PUMP

And that is what makes it automatic

The electronic level sensor watches the filling and connects to a transfer pump: when the tank fills, the pump sends honey to the maturers. No overflows and nobody watching the tank.

In a room in full swing that is one less person tied up. Same idea as the collecting table at the end of a filling line: it does not automate an operation, it automates not having to be there.

04 · 6/4 OUTLET: INCH AND A HALF

And it comes with both power cables

The outlet is a 6/4 inch ball valve — six quarters, that is an inch and a half — the small-installation calibre. It connects to impeller or vane pumps for filling tanks and maturers.

On power it comes ready for 230 V and 400 V, with both cables included. At 1,040 W single phase is plenty; the three-phase cable is there for workshops already wired that way.

05 · €1,970 OVER THE 1.5 M BENCH

And it helps to know what that buys

Our range has a 1.5-metre settling bench for a little over a thousand euros. Almost the same length, a third of the price, and it does the basics: settle by gravity.

What those two thousand euros of difference add are the three heating zones with independent control, the level sensor that governs the pump and the cascading baffles. If honey comes in cold or you want it chained to maturers unattended, this one; if you extract in summer and fill by hand, the bench does the job.

06 · BEFORE YOU BUY

Measure the space: it is 160 × 71 cm on the floor.

✓ A GOOD FITRooms that cannot stop: 1.6 m of heated cascade with a level sensor to automate transfer.
⚠ THE THERMOSTAT REACHES 55 °CThat is the appliance's range. The honey's good band is 35-40 °C: above 40 the HMF rises.
✕ NOT THE BASIC OPTIONThere are 1.5 m settling benches at a third of the price. Here you pay for the heating and the automation.
