🔄 Triple escape system for fast clearing

Combines a central star-shaped escape with 16 exit channels and 4 diamond-shaped escapes in the corners, all with micro-perforated one-way passages. Bees find the exits quickly but cannot navigate back up. Multiple evacuation points across the board mean faster, more even clearing than a standard Porter escape or single-exit crown board.

💡 How to use it in the field

Evening before harvest: place the board with the escapes facing downwards, between the brood box and the supers you want to clear. Next morning: under normal conditions, most bees will have moved down, drawn by the brood, warmth and activity below. Remove the supers at your own pace. Practical tip: do a quick check before fitting the board to make sure the queen has not moved up into the supers, particularly if you have been running without an excluder or with a poorly fitted one.

📐 Fits Langstroth, Dadant and Dadant Blatt 10-frame hives

External dimensions of 505 × 405 mm, designed for standard 10-frame hives. Depending on the wall thickness and the specific hive model, the fit may be tighter or looser, but the key point is that the board sits flush on the box so no gaps remain for bees to bypass the escapes.

⚠️ Limitations worth knowing

During a strong nectar flow or in very hot weather, some foragers will keep trying to move up and clearing may not be 100% complete. In cold spells or short flows, the process can take a bit longer than the usual 12-14 hours. Even so, even if a few stragglers remain, you will cut down dramatically on smoke and frame handling compared to the traditional brush-and-shake method.
