Ready-to-use Propolia ear care for dogs and cats, with propolis, calendula and tea tree to help remove earwax and dust.

The glass bottle and applicator allow a few drops to be dispensed during external-ear hygiene. The formula is not a substitute for veterinary diagnosis: it is for targeted, occasional cleaning, not for treating infection, mites, foreign bodies or damage within the ear canal.

01 · FUNCTION AND INGREDIENTS

Local hygiene with clearly defined limits

The exact official formula combines glycol-glycerine propolis extract, organic sunflower oil, organic calendula oil macerate and organic tea-tree essential oil. Its oily texture helps mobilise excess earwax and dust so they can then be wiped away. No medicinal action is attributed to the formula, and it does not promise to remove itching or unpleasant odour. It is a hygiene item for dogs and cats, and Propolia expressly states that it is not antiparasitic.

02 · STEP-BY-STEP APPLICATION

Drops, massage, head shake and wipe

Shake the bottle before use. Hold the animal's head gently and let a few drops run along the ear without forcing the applicator down the canal. Massage the base carefully to distribute the product. Allow the dog or cat to shake its head, then wipe away visible debris with cotton wool or a compress. Do not insert cotton buds or other objects deeply: they can push debris inwards or injure the ear. Keep the applicator clean without contaminating the bottle contents.

03 · LIMITS OF USE

External, targeted and occasional use only

The manufacturer describes it as ready to use and intended for targeted, occasional application. It must not be swallowed or allowed into the eyes, and must not be used on animals under 2 months old. Keep the bottle out of children's reach; propolis can stain clothing and fabrics. Stop application and contact a vet if an unusual reaction occurs. With a known allergy to propolis or tea tree, do not improvise a tolerance test inside the ear.

04 · BEFORE YOU BUY

Pain, discharge or persistent signs need veterinary attention

Do not apply an ear cleaner if the animal shows marked pain, a tilted head, loss of balance, bleeding, discharge, inflammation, persistent odour or a suspected grass awn or other foreign body. These signs may require examination of the canal and eardrum. Do not combine it with veterinary ear drops without checking compatibility and application order. For routine hygiene, set the frequency with veterinary advice and avoid unnecessary cleaning that may irritate the canal.
