Rigid grafting tool with an aluminium handle and sideways-bent stainless-steel tip.
It is designed to enter the cell from the side, lift a young larva together with some brood food and place it in a queen cup without turning it over. The tool provides control; acceptance also depends on larval age, nurse bees, humidity, temperature and starter-colony management.
01 · HANDLING
The metal tip does not flex like the tongue of a Chinese grafting tool. This gives a clear sense of the tool's position, but calls for the correct angle and no pressure against the cell base. It suits users who prefer a visible, rigid tool; for first attempts, it may be less forgiving than a flexible tip.
02 · GRAFTING
Work in good light, with a warm comb and young larvae surrounded by royal jelly. Bring the tip in from the open side of the larval curve, lift without rotating, and return the grafting bar to the starter as soon as possible. A damp cloth helps prevent the larvae from drying during the batch.

| ✓ FITS | Work in good light, with a warm comb and young larvae surrounded by royal jelly. A damp cloth helps prevent the larvae from drying during the batch. |
| ⚠ NOT INCLUDED | Clean the tip and practise before a batch. Rinse the tip, dry it and check that it is free from burrs and hardened residue. Practise on larvae that will not be used for production so that you can refine your touch. The tool assists grafting; acceptance rate and final queen quality depend on the complete process. |
