Swarm sack. A stick can be attached to it to catch swarms from higher altitudes as trees, buildings, etc...
Few moments get a beekeeper’s heart racing like spotting a swarm on a bright April or May day. You arrive at the apiary, look up, and there it is — a buzzing ball of bees hanging from a branch or a roof edge, full of life.
You know you don’t have much time. It’s nature’s gift — a brand-new colony ready to work — but it’ll fly away if you don’t act fast and smart. That’s when many beekeepers start improvising: the wobbly ladder, the taped-up box, or a bag that tears apart. Losing a swarm like that hurts.
This swarm-catching bag was designed by experienced beekeepers who’ve been there — and some have even fallen off the branch!
Here’s how it solves the problem:
• High-resistance polyester fabric, the same used in camping tents. Dense enough to hold every bee in, yet breathable to prevent overheating.
• Universal metal holder, sturdy and compatible with most telescopic poles. It allows you to position the bag calmly right beneath the swarm.
• With a quick tap, 90% of the swarm falls inside, and the galvanized steel snap-closing system seals it instantly. No knots, no straps — quick, reliable, and bee-safe.
Beekeeper’s tip:
Once the swarm is inside, place the bag in the shade near the original site. The bees inside will release Nasonov pheromone, and thanks to the breathable fabric, the rest of the swarm will join in. Within minutes, you’ll have the full colony ready for its new hive or nuc.
With this bag, you won’t look up and think “too high to reach” — you’ll be watching that swarm settle into your hive an hour later.
Technical details:
• Fabric: High-density tear-resistant breathable polyester.
• Closure: Galvanized steel snap system, rustproof.
• Holder: Reinforced connection compatible with universal-thread telescopic poles.
• Capacity: Up to 3–4 kg of bees.
