200 ml shower gel with propolis and chamomile, mandarin-scented, on a plant-based cleansing base and free of sulfate surfactants.
In a shower gel what matters is what does the cleaning, and at what pH. The rest — the scent, the label — is what you see first and what decides least.
01 · WHAT DOES THE CLEANING
Plant surfactants, no sulfates
Every shower gel cleans with surfactants: there is no such thing without them. What this one leaves out are the sulfated kind — SLS and SLES — the most effective at cutting grease and also the most drying on reactive skin.
In their place it uses a plant-based base with the pH set to that of skin. The difference is not that it cleans more, but that afterwards the skin is not left tight.
02 · PROPOLIS AND CHAMOMILE
What each one brings
The maker names propolis and chamomile as the characteristic ingredients of the formula, with the purifying and soothing properties attributed to them in cosmetics.
The scent is mandarin, citrus and light. It belongs to Propolia's bio range and is dermatologically tested.
03 · FROM THREE YEARS OLD
One bottle for the whole house
It is formulated for use from three years old, which in practice means one gel in the shower instead of one for adults and another for children.
Being scented, it is worth reading the ingredient list if anyone at home has skin sensitive to fragrance.
