01 · THE CAVITY BELONGS TO THE 212

Sharing a lid is not sharing a body

The Orcio 212 measures 73.30 mm across by 84.00 mm high, and that is what the two cavities hold. Worth knowing, because the Orcio 370 closes with the same TO63 neck — same lid, same lid order — but its body is 87.30 × 106.00 mm: fourteen millimetres wider and twenty-two taller. It will not go in. And the Orcio 106, a TO53, rattles around inside; that one has displays of its own, in two and three cavities. If you keep jars of several sizes, measure the body before ordering, not the lid.

02 · A 600-GRAM SET

Two jars that leave the table as one

Each Orcio 212 takes about 300 g of honey, so the assembled set comes to 600 g — the figure you need when what you sell is the set and not the jar. The two cavities keep the jars together and facing forward, labels in view, and the top handle lets you hand it over as it is, with no bag or box around it. At a market stall, as a corporate gift or at a wedding, the difference between two loose jars and an assembled pack registers with the customer before they read a word.

03 · KRAFT OR BLACK

The display accompanies, it does not compete

It comes in two finishes. Kraft, natural in tone, sits well with artisan labels, textured papers and earthy inks. Black adds contrast and closes the set: it works when the label is white, pale or gold and you want that to be what stands out. The rule is simple — pick the one that lets your label do the talking.

04 · BEFORE YOU BUY

What you get is the display on its own: jars and lids are sold separately. The Orcio 212 comes in packs of 25, which throws up a sum worth doing in advance — twenty-five jars make twelve sets with one jar left over. If you are preparing a run for a fair or the Christmas season, order displays by counting pairs, not jars.
