The Snelgrove board consists of a special type of interlayer with a double screened mesh that favors the spreads between colonies. Designed with 8 entrance (4 uppers and 4 lower) in the standard size of 425x510mm (valid for Langstroth and Dadant beehives). Its principle of operation is based on the division of a strong beehive and its continuous bleeding of guard bees from one part of the beehive to another. Among others, its main functionalities are: Controlling swarming Manage beehives with two queens.
