Sixteen wide-mouth glass tubs of 370 ml with a Twist Off 89 finish. They hold about 500 g of honey; the lid is separate.

01 · THE LID

TO 89, and in packs of 16

The mouth is a Twist Off 89 — 89 mm across — and the gold pasteurisable lid comes in packs of 16: one for each pack of jars, with nothing left over and nothing missing.

That wide mouth is half the point of the format: it fills fast and without drips, takes hot filling and cleans with no corners.

02 · WIDE AND LOW

104 mm across by 67 tall

The profile is a tub, not a jar: 104 mm across and 66.8 tall. On the shelf it reads differently from a tall cylinder, and at the table a spoon reaches the bottom.

That is why it works beyond honey: spread, jam, sauce, pâté or sobrasada all sit in this container without looking borrowed.

03 · THE FIGURES

370 ml is half a kilo of honey

The 370 ml fill with around 500 g of honey, so a pack of sixteen is some eight kilos jarred. Each tub weighs 195 grams of glass: enough to protect, little enough not to punish the carriage.
