VETROelite MONACO 260 ml clear glass food jar with a broad honeycomb-inspired face and a slim side profile. Its geometry makes the container itself part of the presentation for honey, preserves and other compatible foods.

This is model 9804WH1E008: the empty jar weighs 250 g, stands 103 mm high and has a 101 × 55 mm base. These are the manufacturer's dimensions; it is not a 100 mm diameter jar. It is supplied without a lid and requires a standard Twist-Off TO 43 closure selected for the food and filling process.

01 · ACTUAL FORMAT

A 101 mm face with only 55 mm of depth

The honeycomb silhouette provides a broad visual face without taking up the depth of a round jar of the same width. It is well suited to shelf display, gifting and tasting formats. Sloping shoulders and the raised base reduce the truly flat area, so measure a physical sample before ordering labels and check both usable width and corner clearance.

02 · VOLUME AND NET WEIGHT

260 ml does not determine the grams of honey

Nominal capacity is a volume. About 350 g of honey can be a useful commercial guide, but it is not a guaranteed conversion: density varies with moisture, origin and temperature, and the chosen fill must retain the intended headspace. Establish net weight with trials using your honey, filling temperature and process tolerance, then verify the declaration used on each label format.

03 · CHOOSING THE LID

Standard TO 43: the size is only the first check

The neck finish is standard Twist-Off TO 43, not TO 43 Deep. The lid is ordered separately. Use a new food-suitable cap whose internal compound matches the product and the intended cold- or hot-fill process. The jar alone does not guarantee vacuum or a hermetic seal: cap, application torque, temperature, headspace and cooling form one system that the packer must validate.

04 · BUYING CHECKS

A sample check prevents label and process errors

Inspect every jar and reject chipped, cracked or damaged rims. Wash or prepare it under your hygiene plan and avoid sudden temperature changes. VETROelite does not publish a thermal limit, pasteurisation cycle or label panel dimensions for this reference; do not infer them from the photograph or from a compatible cap. For thermal processing or a large production run, test the complete pack and confirm conditions with the jar and closure suppliers.
