Double grafting bar holding 66 queen cups on a single support, for royal jelly production. Twice the cups of the single-row bar, so each pass grafts more without adding frames to the cell builder. The cups come off for harvesting.
Two rows, more grafts per run, same bar.
If you already have a royal jelly production system set up, this bar fits directly onto your existing queen-rearing frame. The double row of cups gives you 66 grafting positions in the same space a single-row bar would occupy — more jelly per cycle without adding extra frames to the setup.
01 · CAPACITY
The two parallel rows make full use of the bar's length without crowding the cups. Each cup has the standard interior diameter to accept a freshly hatched larva (<24 h post-eclosion) transferred with a grafting tool. Conditioning the bar in the hive for 24-48 hours before grafting noticeably improves acceptance rates: the cups pick up the colony's scent and nurse bees treat them as their own.
02 · HARVEST
At 48 hours after grafting the royal jelly is at its peak volume and quality. Remove the larva with a clean spatula or grafting tool before harvesting — don't leave the jelly in contact with larval remains any longer than necessary. The food-safe plastic cleans easily between cycles and holds its shape season after season without absorbing odours. Check compatibility with your frame support system before first use.
