1,936 JARS PER PALLET: IN THE ORDER OF 1,160 KG OF HONEY | 410 ml TALL NECK, 85 × 94 MM: ABOUT 600 G |
TO82 DEEP, HIGH SKIRT: THE KILO-JAR LID DOES NOT FIT | 515 kg THE PALLET, AT 250 G PER EMPTY JAR |
Full pallet of 1,936 tall-neck jars of 410 ml, the 600 g format between the half-kilo and the kilo jar: 85 mm across, 94 high and about 250 g empty, around 515 kg of pallet to bottle in the order of 1,160 kg. The neck is Twist-Off 82 Deep, high skirt: the ordinary TO82 lid of the kilo jar does not close; it takes the high-skirt ones in a pack of 16, black (3168) or silver (3169). No lids; the same jar in a pack of 16 (2445).
The 600-gram jar answers a specific complaint from the market customer: the half-kilo falls short and the kilo feels like too much; what you need to know is that its 82 neck is not the kilo jar’s.
01 · THE JAR
A straight body in clear glass, short shoulder and tall neck: 85 mm across and 94 high, with a plain body for the label. The 410 ml nominal hold about 600 g of honey at 1.4 kg per litre; runny, creamed or set makes no difference, and it fits any filler with an 80-90 mm cup. It is the step that raises the ticket in direct sales, when the customer who already knows the honey moves up from the half-kilo, and it works just as well for jam, spread or preserves if the glass is shared between lines.
02 · THE NECK
The neck measures 82 mm, the same as the traditional kilo jar, but it is a tall neck and needs the high-skirt TO82 lid, the Deep: the standard TO82 used on kilos (case of 750, 3222) does not close properly. Look at the skirt height, not the diameter. High-skirt lids come separately, in a pack of 16, black (3168) or silver (3169); for a whole pallet, ask us about cases and other colours. It is the same lid the APIARI kilo jar takes (2432).
03 · THE PALLET
1,936 jars come palletised and shrink-wrapped: at about 250 g each, around 515 kg with pallet and cardboard, to bottle in the order of 1,160 kg of honey. It is the unit of the own-brand producer or the cooperative bottling over a tonne a season in this format: freight per jar is far lower than in packs, and glass, kept dry and wrapped, does not expire. It ships by pallet carrier, with truck access and a covered spot to unload. To try the format, the pack of 16 (2445); on the same neck, the pallets of hexagonal 720 (2689) and N720 (3310).
04 · BEFORE YOU BUY
The pallet of jars is supplied without lids; the high-skirt TO82 lids (3168, 3169) come separately.
