🍯 The step between the half-kilo and the kilo

Each jar takes around 600 g of honey in its 410 ml. It answers a complaint you hear at every market stall: the half-kilo runs out too soon and the kilo jar feels like too much of a commitment. It works best with repeat direct sales, where the buyer already knows your honey and moves up a size, and with delicatessens that want a mid-price reference on the shelf.

⚠️ TO82 Deep is not the TO82 of the kilo jar

This is where the expensive mistake happens. The finish measures 82 mm, the same as the traditional kilo jar, but this jar has a tall neck and needs the TO82 deep-skirt cap (Deep H14). Order the standard TO82 you have been using for your kilos and it will not seal properly. Look at the skirt height, not the diameter. The DTO82 box holds 430 units in gold, black, silver and bronze; the full pallet takes a little over four and a half boxes.

📐 The same jar as the 16-pack, in pallet format

It is the jar we already ship in packs of 16: 85 mm diameter and 94 mm tall, clear glass. Only the quantity and the cost per unit change. That diameter runs without adjustment in filling machines with 80-90 mm cups. If you have not settled on this format yet, try the 16-pack before committing to a pallet.

🔄 A jar that does not sit idle between harvests

The 410 ml works just as well for jam, spreads, chutney or gourmet preserves. If you combine honey with another line, or you pack for third parties, the pallet will not sit in the store waiting for next season: it is the same jar across several products.
