Full pallet of 1,183 N720 Normalisse jars of 720 ml, the kilo jar of all time: straight body, marked shoulder and a wide 82 mm Twist-Off mouth. Each takes about 950 g of honey and the pallet covers around 1,120 kg bottled; at 300 g of glass, it weighs about 355 kg. The lid is the standard TO82, not the high-skirt one of tall-neck jars. No lids; the same jar in a pack of 16 (2433).
Once you know the kilo is your format and you bottle season after season, buying it sixteen at a time stops making sense.
01 · THE JAR
720 ml that are 950 g, with an 82 mouth
The N720 is the classic kilo profile: straight body, marked shoulder and an 82 mm mouth that lets thick honey through without spilling over the shoulder, so it fills straight from the tank with the tap open. Its 720 ml hold about 950 g of honey leaving the headspace that hot filling asks for. And that same wide mouth is what the customer appreciates when the honey sets: the spoon reaches the bottom without scraping past the neck.
02 · THE LID
Standard TO82, not the high-skirt one
The mouth is 82 mm Twist-Off with a regular thread, the one of the classic kilo jar: it takes the standard TO82 lid and not the high-skirt DTO82, which belongs to tall-neck jars and measures the same across. In cases of 750 there are gold (3222), black (3223), honeycomb (3224) and bee image (3225); in packs of 16 there are also bee (3163), honeycomb (3164), gold (3165) and black (3166) to try finishes before committing to a case. Two cases cover the pallet with margin.
03 · THE PALLET
1,183 jars, 355 kg and a good tonne
1,183 jars come palletised and shrink-wrapped: at 300 g of glass each, about 355 kg with pallet and cardboard, to bottle around 1,120 kg of honey. It is a mid-sized apiary’s whole crop without reordering containers mid-season, and it covers a weekly market all season or supplies a shop in one go. It ships by pallet carrier, with truck access and a covered spot. For a few hundred kilos, the pack of 16 (2433).
04 · BEFORE YOU BUY
The pallet of jars is supplied without lids; standard TO82 lids (3222-3225) come separately.
