SAF Natura upper assembly with beam, motor, programmer, lids, hinges, wiring and safety interlock for upgrading compatible 640 or 900 mm extractors.

This is not a generic motor chosen by drum diameter alone. It is a mechanical, electrical and safety retrofit: model, generation, geometry, shaft, controller, supply and lid circuit must match. Select it before ordering from photographs, measurements, rating plate and serial number.

01 · SELECT THE VARIANT

640 and 900 mm are the first filter, not the final answer

PrestaShop retains two combinations: SAF74-640 for Ø 640 mm extractors and SAF74-900 for Ø 900 mm. The inherited text links 640 to FUEGO, MITO, MODUS, IBIZA and R9, and 900 to MALAGA, XSARA, FOCUS and ULISSE. These names are useful leads, not proof for every production revision. Confirm full model, year or serial, actual internal diameter, and clear photographs of the head and rating plate.

02 · MECHANICAL FIT

Beam length, supports, holes and shaft must all match

Measure support spacing, rim width and profile, hole positions and diameters, assembly height, basket shaft, key or coupling, direction of rotation and clearance for lids and hinges. Check that the basket is centred, free-running and structurally suitable for the drive. Do not force, drill or adapt a beam without technical approval: incorrect geometry transfers loads, rubbing and vibration to the extractor.

03 · MOTOR AND PROGRAMMER

Each variant's rating plate overrides historical copy

The inherited content expressly assigns 150 W and 220 V single-phase only to the 900 mm variant. The current complete MALAGA extractor page states 150 W, 230 V and an SN_ALIM controller, but does not prove that this spare kit is the same generation. No reliable power or supply value is documented for 640 mm. Never mix motor, control box, supply or parameters across generations; the quotation must identify every component and plate voltage.

04 · KIT SCOPE

A family photograph is not a binding parts list

The LTA text lists motor beam, motor, control/programmer, safety device, lids, hinges and wiring. The active image shows these types of parts, but cannot prove identical supports, lids or connectors for both variants. Require a reference-specific exploded view or supply list, included fasteners, cable lengths, plug or power supply, instructions, factory parameters and any component that must be reused from the existing extractor.

05 · SAFETY AND COMMISSIONING

The lid interlock must never be bypassed

Disconnect and lock out the extractor before removal, and always wait for the basket to stop completely. Installation and connection are for competent personnel. Verify earthing, protection, direction, fasteners, vibration, normal and emergency stops, and that opening a lid prevents or stops drive as designed. Test first empty and then with balanced loads, increasing speed gradually. Never operate with lids, guards or the safety circuit disabled.

06 · BEFORE YOU BUY

Diameter, model, serial, plate and geometry before acceptance

Provide overall and rating-plate photographs, extractor reference, internal diameter, support and hole spacing, shaft/coupling detail, lids and hinges, present controller, connectors and available supply. The selected option —SAF74-640 or SAF74-900— must appear in the quotation alongside motor, programmer, safety version and included parts. Neither 150 W nor 220/230 V can be transferred automatically between variants or generations.
