Replacement hose for 5 L steam generator

01 · WHAT IT IS AND WHAT IT FITS

The Dampfmeister 5.0 hose

It is Bienen-Ruck’s original spare 64407-3 for its Dampfmeister 5.0, which is our 5 L steam generator (1286): 1.5 m of 25 mm corrugated tube with a 3/8″ nut and 15 mm inner thread, the same connection as the standard hose. The 7 L generator (2901) mounts a different insulated hose, and for other brands compare thread and diameter before ordering.

02 · WHEN TO CHANGE IT

Cracks, stiffness and leaks at the thread

Heat and steam cycles harden the plastic: the hose loses flexibility, cracks near the nut and the steam escapes at the joint before reaching the equipment, which starts later and melts worse. This spare restores the full run; if the leak continues with a new hose, look at the seal and the outlet adapter.

03 · HOW TO LOOK AFTER IT

No tight bends and empty when stored

The corrugation bends without choking, but a sustained tight elbow ends in a crack: lay it in wide curves between generator and equipment. After each session let the steam and condensed water out before coiling it, and store it without crushing.

The hose is supplied with its nut; generator, adapter and equipment come separately.
