Panoramic goggles for vaporize

Respiratory protection is essential: these goggles do not protect against gases, vapours or fine dust. Follow the authorised product label and safety data sheet and wear the specified respirator, gloves and clothing.

01 · FIT AND VISION

Panoramic lens with an adjustable strap

The clear polycarbonate lens gives a wide field of view, while the PVC body and broad elastic strap allow adjustment around the face. Four indirect vents help manage condensation without a direct frontal opening. They fit over most prescription spectacles, but test the complete combination for pressure, gaps or lens contact.

02 · EN 166 MARKING

Use the code to understand the stated protection

Optical class 1 permits continuous use; B denotes medium-energy impact resistance and T extends that performance to temperature extremes. Codes 3, 4 and 9 cover liquid droplets or splashes, coarse dust particles over 5 µm and molten metal or hot solids. Code 5 is absent, so the goggles must not be described as gas or fine-dust protection.

03 · SAFE VAPORISATION

Protecting the eyes does not control inhalation exposure

Use only an authorised product and follow its label, instructions and safety data sheet. Keep out of the vapour cloud, exclude other people and combine these goggles with the respiratory protection specified for the actual product, together with suitable gloves and clothing. Check the seal before each hive and do not remove PPE within the exposure area.

Confirm the marking, fit and remaining PPE

This listing is for EN 166 1 BT 3 4 9 panoramic goggles with four indirect vents. They are not a mask or respirator, contain no filter and cannot protect against inhaled oxalic acid on their own. If you wear prescription spectacles, test them underneath and make sure the strap keeps the goggles stable without breaking the fit.
