This amber glass container, capable of holding up to 20 ml or approximately 20-25g of royal jelly, offers a versatile solution for packaging propolis tinctures as well as storing pharmaceutical and cosmetic products.
When you prepare fresh royal jelly for your customers, you know the challenge isn’t just extraction: it’s keeping its activity and colour intact from the honey house to the fridge. This amber Topacio 20 ml bottle (PP 28S neck) is the one we use during the season because it limits light exposure and performs well under cold storage. Supplied without cap so you can choose the PP 28 closure that fits best (dropper, insert, or tamper-evident cap).
Royal jelly is sensitive to light, oxygen and temperature; the amber glass helps slow photodegradation (that yellowing you see when it’s left in sunlight) and preserves aroma and texture. For propolis tincture, it’s even more effective since flavonoids are highly photosensitive.
Real capacity for royal jelly: density approx. 1.10–1.20 g/ml. A 20 ml jar holds about 22–24 g filled to the brim, but in commercial use it’s filled with 20 g to leave a clean headspace and ensure proper sealing.
