Pack of 9 clear glass 640 ml jars with an extra-wide TO-100 mouth: a low, wide body with a textured wall, 81.2 mm high by 124 in diameter, which in honey comes to about 900-950 g depending on density. Almost the kilo format, in a jar where the spoon reaches the bottom: for creamed honey and honeys that set hard. The TO-100 lid is not included.

With set thyme, heather or mountain honey a narrow mouth is a problem: a 100 mm mouth lets the soup spoon in and wipes the rim in one pass.

01 · WHAT FOR

Creamed and hard-set honey, almost by the kilo

640 ml takes about 900-950 g of honey: practically the kilo, in a lower, wider jar that sits well on the table and the display. It suits creamed honey and the varieties that set hard, where the customer needs to get the spoon in without a fight, and works just as well for thick jams, nut butters or vegetable pâtés. The glass texture gives an artisan feel a smooth cylinder does not.

02 · THE TO-100 MOUTH

Fill without runs, close clean

The 100 mm twist-off mouth fits any wide-mouth filling line or doser, cuts cleaning between jars and almost removes honey from the closing thread. TO-100 lids come separately from the house range (3189, 3229): choose colour and finish and order them with the jar.

03 · THE FORMAT

9 per pack; 270 g glass

Supplied in packs of 9 to try the format or for small runs; the jar weighs 270 g. Glass: wash before first use and fill with warm honey, never hot honey into cold glass. The low 290 ml sibling with a TO-82 mouth is 3089.

04 · BEFORE YOU BUY

9 jars without lids are supplied; TO-100 lids and labels come separately.
