THE CASE

Case of 156 Topacio 20 ml amber glass jars with PP28 thread, no cap: the fresh royal jelly jar, in a honey-house format to bottle up to 3.12 kg at once. It is the same jar we sell by the unit (STO-69015); food-grade PP28 caps are ordered separately, or choose the single jar with cap (990407-20G).

Buying 156 jars one by one adds weight, shipments and time: the full case is for anyone bottling jelly in volume who already manages their caps.

01 · THE JAR

Topacio 20 ml, amber, PP28 DIN 6094 thread

Amber glass that blocks visible and ultraviolet light, which degrades the jelly’s active compounds. Brimful capacity 23 ± 2.5 ml; PP28S neck to DIN 6094, inner Ø 20 ± 0.3 mm; 54.3 mm high, body Ø 32.5, about 38 g each. The standard thread fits any manual or semi-automatic honey-house filler and takes ordinary food-grade PP28 caps.

02 · THE DOSE

20 g per jar; up to 24 if filled to the brim

Fresh royal jelly weighs 1.10-1.20 g/ml, so the usual dose is 20 g per jar and the useful volume takes about 24 g filled right up. 156 jars make 3.12 kg of jelly at 20 g: a small honey house’s season or a repacking lot. In the cold room it keeps colour and texture until the next lot; the house jelly (891, 2279) goes in this same jar.

03 · NO CAP

156 PP28 caps separately, or the single jar with cap

The jars arrive with the thread bare and no cap: you need 156 food-grade PP28 caps, which we sell loose under reference PP28. Anyone not wanting to manage caps has the single jar with cap included (990407-20G). The case weighs about 5.93 kg and travels as one parcel.

04 · BEFORE YOU BUY

The case of 156 jars without caps is supplied; PP28 caps, labels and jelly come separately.

✕ DOESN’T FIT	Anyone needing a few units or wanting the cap on: the single jar 990407-20G.
