Pallet of 1,176 plain V720 glass jars of 720 ml with a Twist-Off 77 mouth for packing a kilo of honey, delivered in shrink-wrapped cardboard trays, without lids. Straight cylindrical jar, 80.6 × 172 mm and about 270 grams: the tallest in the house.
It is the format for those who pack in runs: 1,176 jars in one go, no loose boxes, and the lids of your choice.
01 · THE JAR
Plain V720: a kilo of honey in a TO 77 mouth
The V720 is the straight, plain 720 ml jar which, filled to the shoulder, takes a kilo of honey. Twist-Off mouth of 77 mm (GPI 2040 profile): lids come separately and you choose them, gold, black or honeycomb, in boxes of 950. It measures 80.6 mm across and 172 tall, the tallest in the catalogue, so the box for the short cylindrical 1 kg jar does not fit it: it has its own.
02 · THE PALLET
Shrink-wrapped, 400 kilos, tail-lift lorry
It arrives stacked in layers on cardboard trays and shrink-wrapped, about 400 kg in all. It comes on a tail-lift lorry, so it is unloaded to the ground with no forklift or pallet truck on your side, as people ask in the mailbox; shipping is calculated at checkout by destination. Keep a covered, dry spot: the pallet stays closed until packing day.
03 · BEFORE FILLING
Inspect, test the closure and do not mix lids
Set aside jars with a crack, a chip or dirt in the mouth. Test the closure on a few units before the run, with the same fill and the same torque, and have the lid decided: a TO 77 from another supplier can close and not seal. For less than a pallet, the same jar comes in packs of 25.
04 · BEFORE YOU BUY
The 1,176 jars are supplied without lids; TO 77 lids in boxes of 950 and cardboard boxes of 12 come separately.
