This fine-adjustment CO₂ adapter is designed for queen bee anesthesia during instrumental insemination. It allows precise control of the gas flow, ensuring the queen is immobilized for just the right amount of time without causing harm.

Why is this component so critical?
Too much CO₂ can be fatal to the queen; too little and she won’t be fully immobilized, making insemination difficult or impossible. This adapter features a flow scale (ml/min) and smooth regulation knob for safe and accurate dosing.

This is the same unit included in the 4.00 portable anesthesia system, offered here separately for beekeepers building a setup with a large CO₂ cylinder (e.g. 2 kg) and an external pressure reducer 4.10. It’s the preferred configuration for extended use and maximum autonomy.

It includes silicone hoses, a magnetic base with adhesive disk, and a clearly graduated flow scale — all designed for comfort, stability, and professional performance.
