Bee-Sacc Health declares 16% crude protein and Proteall declares 11%. Both are offered in 300 g portions. Those percentages describe the feed as supplied; assess them alongside how much the colony actually consumes.

The highest percentage alone does not decide the choice. Consider pollen intake, brood objectives, consumption and the rest of the diet. Supplying more patty than the bees use leaves feed exposed and makes the response harder to assess.

Bee Polenate: protein powder for formulating feed

Bee Polenate declares 43.41% crude protein and is made from yeast products. It is a raw ingredient for patties prepared with other ingredients. Adding sugar and syrup lowers the final protein concentration, so the 43.41% figure should not be compared directly with a ready-made patty.

Powder suits an existing routine for homogeneous mixing and controlled storage; prepared patties save that work. Adjust quantities to consumption and prevent feed from entering honey intended for harvest.
