Spare entrance door for Anel’s LockFit floor: the 16.9 cm polyethylene bar that sits in the floor’s entrance and turns on its pins between the holed face, which lets the bee through and not the wasp or the mouse, and the blind face, which closes the hive for transport. 18 g; blue or yellow as available.
It is the LockFit part that gets lost loading the trailer: without it the entrance stays wide open, and with it one turn chooses between bee passage and a closed hive.
01 · HOW IT WORKS
Turn it: holes or closed
The bar sits in the floor’s entrance and turns on two pins without coming out: one face has a row of bee-sized holes that let foragers through and stop wasps and Asian hornets in the late-summer robbing, and the mouse when the cold comes; turned to the blind face, the hive is closed at the entrance for transport, quarantine or treatment. It only comes out for cleaning or replacement, by pressing the pins sideways.
02 · WHAT IT GOES WITH
The LockFit floor, and nothing else
It fits Anel’s Langstroth LockFit floor, the full set (3101) and the bare base (3241); with the tray (3243) and the legs (3242) it is one of the system’s four spare parts. Virgin BPA-free polyethylene, 16.9 × 1.9 × 1.9 cm and 18 g. It does not fit other floors or wooden entrances.

The door is supplied on its own, in blue or yellow as available; the floor comes separately.
