The base of the ANEL LockFit hygienic floor for 10-frame Langstroth, as a loose part: the ventilated body in BPA-free virgin polyethylene, 55 × 42 × 10 cm and 1.58 kg, with no entrance, no tray and no legs. It is the spare for the complete set (3101) and the part to build the floor to order with the tray (3243), the entrance (3244) and the legs (3242) you will use. It sits on wooden and plastic bodies.
Of the LockFit floor, the part that almost never breaks is the base: it is bought loose to replace one a pallet crushed, or to avoid paying for an entrance and a tray that will not be used.
01 · WHAT IT IS
The LockFit body, and nothing else
It is the base of the LockFit hygienic floor (3101): reinforced perimeter frame and ventilated mesh over the whole footprint, with the guides for the counting tray, the guides for a vertical divider board and the housings for the legs, but none of those parts inside. Without tray, the mesh drops wax, debris and varroa to the ground and ventilates fully; with the tray (3243) in, it collects and counts. It is the summer and harvest position as it arrives.
02 · WHICH BODY IT FITS
10-frame Langstroth, wood or plastic, and the pallet
The 55 × 42 cm frame sits on 10-frame Langstroth bodies of wood or plastic, like the ANEL 595, with no adapter: a plastic floor under a pine body is what most extends the life of the wood, because the floor is the first thing to rot. It fastens to the body with staples or with screws through the small perimeter holes, and the large holes in the base serve to screw or strap it to the migration pallet. Dadant, Layens and 8-frame Langstroth do not fit: the footprint is different.
03 · HOW IT IS COMPLETED
Tray, entrance and legs, only the ones needed
To leave it like the set: grid tray (3243), rotating entrance (3244) and four legs (3242). Anyone migrating on pallets needs no legs, and anyone not counting varroa can do without the tray until they want it. BPA-free virgin polyethylene with FCM Gold certification for food contact, which washes under pressure and does not rot; ANEL guarantees it for ten years.

The base is supplied alone; entrance (3244), tray (3243), legs (3242) and the complete set (3101) come separately.
