Plastic foot that press-fits onto the perimeter of the ANEL LockFit hive floor and lifts it slightly off the ground, so soil, stones and mud cannot get into the floor’s openings and mesh. Not a stand for raising the hive: for that, set it on a pallet, bricks or a metal base. Four per floor; single replacement unit.
Plastic foot that press-fits onto the perimeter of the ANEL LockFit hive floor. Its job is to protect the floor: it keeps the base slightly off the ground so soil, stones and mud cannot get into the floor’s openings and mesh or clog them. Each floor takes four; this reference is the single replacement unit, to replace one that snaps during migratory moves or to fit a floor you bought without them.
Sitting straight on the ground, the floor ends up swallowing whatever is underneath it: mud and soil work their way through the ventilation mesh and the fixing holes, and small stones get wedged in. The four feet create a small gap from the ground that keeps those openings clear. They press-fit onto the points around the perimeter, no tools needed, and stay put.
The feet lift the floor just enough to protect it, not to bring the hive up to a working height. If you want real elevation —easier handling, better drainage, or getting the hive off damp ground— you need to set it on your own base: a pallet, some bricks or a metal stand.
