White polypropylene PRIMO 46 bucket with 46.3 L usable volume under the lid and a pressure lid. Its capacity is roughly equivalent to 62 kg of honey, depending on the actual batch density.
A large food container for keeping batches separate and closed. The manufacturer’s declaration defines it as a disposable, non-sterile container: pre-fill hygiene and process suitability remain the packer’s responsibility.
01 · ACTUAL CAPACITY
46.3 L usable; 47.4 L brimful
The data sheet separates volume under the lid from total brimful volume. Use 46.3 L as the working reference to avoid overfilling. The 62 kg honey figure is approximate and varies with density, moisture and temperature; it does not replace a scale.
02 · BATCH AND STORAGE
Keep harvests separate without losing their identity
Mark the bucket body —not only the lid— with batch, date or extraction code and keep the record linking it to the honey. Close it after each operation: honey is hygroscopic and an open container can absorb ambient moisture and odours. The bucket separates batches physically, but traceability still depends on records.
03 · LID AND TRANSPORT
Pressure lid; verify the configuration when liquid-tightness matters
The sheet identifies a pressure lid and lists a gasket for tight closure as an accessory. Before transporting liquid, tilting or stacking, confirm which lid and gasket are supplied and test them under your conditions. The stated static stacking strength is 100 kg at 23 °C in testing; it is not a universal approval for stacking or transport.
04 · HYGIENE
Supplied non-sterile
The manufacturer states that the user must assess sanitation before filling according to the food. Use an intact, clean, dry and odour-free bucket and avoid tools that scratch the inside. The compliance declaration calls it a single-use container, so it is not presented here as reusable packaging.
05 · BEFORE YOU BUY
Keep away from sun, heat, severe cold and strong odours
Store closed in a clean, dry, protected place. The manufacturer warns that sunlight, heat sources, cold and poor handling can deform the container or change its performance. Includes PRIMO 46 bucket and pressure lid; tap, accessory gasket, scale and labels are not included.
