A simple tool for opening snap-on plastic pail lids without straining your fingers or concentrating all the force at one point.
Its shaped hook engages the lid rim and lifts it progressively. It is useful for honey, food or work pails whose edge allows the opener to seat correctly.
01 · PROGRESSIVE OPENING
Place the hook beneath one section of the rim and use the handle as a lever with a short movement. Work around the lid, repeating the action until the closure is released. Spreading the force limits distortion of the plastic and provides more control than pulling by hand or using a sharp tool.
02 · COMPATIBILITY AND USE
It is intended for snap-on plastic lids whose edge lets the tool profile engage and bear correctly. Lid, tamper band and pail geometries vary: if the hook will not enter without being forced, do not use it as a punch. Keep your other hand away from the lever path and place the pail on a stable surface.
03 · BEFORE BUYING
Check that the pail has a compatible outer lip and that you want to lift the lid while retaining control of its edge. The product is plastic and supplied as one tool. Pail, lid and tamper seal are not included, and it is not intended for cutting security rings or opening metal containers.
