01 · WHAT IT ACTUALLY DOES

Controlled heat, not combustion

Natural propolis goes into the evaporation dish and the device takes it to around 82 °C. At that temperature the volatile fraction of the resin is released, the part that gives propolis its characteristic smell, without burning it, which is the difference from burning resin on a tablet or on charcoal.

The maker indicates it for closed rooms of up to 30 m². It is operated with a single button.

02 · WHAT IS IN THE SET

All the equipment except the propolis

You get the device with its cover and cable, the evaporation dishes, tongs for handling them hot, a mask with a one-way valve, a mouthpiece and connecting tube, and the apitherapy cap.

The tongs are not an extra: the dish comes out at working temperature and is not handled by hand.

03 · THE TABLETS ARE SEPARATE

The consumable is not included

The propolis is bought separately, in tablets. Each tablet gives up to five days of continuous use, and the maker offers an 18-tablet format, which is about ninety days.

It is the first thing to settle when buying the device, because without tablets it does nothing. Write to us before ordering to confirm availability and format.

04 · WHAT NOT TO EXPECT

Aroma, not treatment and not disinfection

Propolis is a resin the bees collect from tree buds and shoots and use to seal and protect the hive. That explains the interest in it; it does not license any promise. This device scents the air of a room, and that is where its job ends.

It does not disinfect, does not purify the air, does not filter particles and does not replace ventilation. Any health-related use should be discussed with a healthcare professional.
