01 · WHAT IS IN IT

Propolis in glycolic extract, echinacea in alcohol

The propolis comes as a glycolic extract: the resins are extracted in glycol rather than alcohol, so it does not sting and does not turn milky when it meets the water of the spray. The alcohol it does contain comes from the echinacea extract; bear it in mind if you avoid alcohol. Eucalyptus honey and peppermint essence provide the taste. The maker does not declare the propolis concentration.

Spray into the mouth, as the label says

It is a throat spray, as its label states: it is sprayed straight into the mouth, following the directions and storage the maker gives. It fits in a pocket and delivers the dose in one press, without waste; shake before use if it has been standing.

Allergies and other formats

Do not use it if you have a known allergy to hive products or sensitivity to propolis, a frequent sensitiser. If you prefer propolis with no alcoholic extract of any kind, the raw chewable one; if you want a declared concentration, the 33 % extract with dropper.
