Raw propolis in pieces, for chewing. 20 g of hive material exactly as it comes off the frames, unprocessed and with nothing added.
Propolis is the resin bees gather from tree buds and mix with wax and their own secretions to seal gaps and line the inside of the hive. This is precisely that material, scraped off and supplied in pieces.
01 · THE PRODUCT
There are no excipients, no binders and no flavourings: just pieces of pure propolis, 20 g in total. That is why the colour, the hardness and the aroma vary from batch to batch — they depend on which trees the colony had within reach and on when it gathered the resin. A propolis that looked identical season after season would be a processed propolis.
02 · HOW TO CHEW IT
Cold, propolis is hard and brittle; with body heat it turns plastic and sticky. Bite it the moment it goes in and it heads straight for your molars or sticks to the roof of your mouth; leave it under the tongue for a moment until it softens and it chews like gum. The taste is resinous and bitter — it is the taste of bud resin, not of honey.
03 · BEFORE YOU BUY
Store it somewhere cool and dry; in the heat the pieces cake together. The product specifications are in the data sheet downloadable below. This is raw hive material, not a supplement in dosed form.
