01 · THE FORMAT
A pre-scored plate: the bar comes ready to break off
The 10 g plate is scored into 1 g bars, so you break one off with your fingers — nothing to weigh or cut. Against loose propolis pieces, the advantage is that the portion is always the same.
02 · HOW IT IS TAKEN
What the manufacturer's label states
The manufacturer states one 1 g bar a day. Warm it gently in the mouth before chewing — cold propolis is hard and sticks to the molars — and keep it in for at least 15 minutes, or until it disintegrates. Chewing it produces a characteristic tingling. Always follow the directions and the daily amount on the label.
