Protein and vitamin complementary feed in gel form, ready to lay in a line over the frames: no syrup, no mixing.

Developed by Calier, this ready-to-use gel keeps the active ingredients of the classic liquid Promotor L but in a convenient texture that allows direct consumption by the bees. Its light sugar base gently stimulates feeding activity, while the amino acids are the raw material the colony builds its own proteins from. The added B-group vitamins are involved in brood development. It cures nothing: it keeps that raw material from running short.

01 · WHEN TO USE IT

The hive that will not get going despite having stores

When you open a hive and find it weak, with little brood and low activity despite having stores, you know something is missing. In those cases, Promotor L® Gel Apis becomes an immediate ally: a vitamin and amino acid supplement ready to use directly on the frames, without the need to prepare syrup or calculate doses.

02 · WHAT IT PROVIDES

Thirteen per cent protein and twenty amino acids

This balanced formula is ideal for weakened colonies, newly created nucs or periods with poor pollen availability. In autumn it accompanies the making of winter bees; in spring, the build-up of the brood nest. The effect shows in the next generation rather than in the bees that eat it, so it is given two or three weeks ahead.

For the professional beekeeper, it is a precise tool to complement large-scale syrup stimulation. For the hobbyist with few hives, it’s a simple and efficient alternative — just apply a portion of the gel on the frames or crown board, no dilution or measurement needed.
