SAF Natura ALIM/ECO control box supplied as a replacement for the drive system described as an ECO motor.
It is not a universal controller and is not equivalent to the SAF programmer identified simply as ALIM. The full reference on the removed unit is the first purchasing filter.
01 · IDENTIFICATION
ALIM/ECO and ALIM are separate parts
SAF Natura purchasing documents list ALIM/ECO, described as a programmer for an ECO motor, separately from ALIM, described as an automatic programmer for a SAF Natura motor. The ECO motor kit is another separate item. Do not select a replacement by enclosure shape or extractor brand alone: verify the programmer reference, the motor and the assembly in which it is installed.
02 · CHECK
The rating plate and circuit determine fit
Record the reference on the removed unit and photograph its plate, connectors, wiring and mounting point. Also confirm voltage, the associated ECO motor and every lid interlock in the circuit. A connector that physically mates does not prove that the electronics, direction of rotation or safety logic are compatible.
03 · BEFORE YOU BUY
Do not adapt the replacement by defeating a safeguard
Disconnect, isolate and secure the power supply before any work. Replacement must preserve earthing, stop function, direction of rotation and manufacturer-specified interlocks, followed by an unloaded test. If fitting requires altered connectors, improvised wiring or bypassing a safety device, this part has not been validated for that installation.
