Italian brand SAF Natura supplies extractors for starting with a few colonies or expanding a honey house, alongside tanks, filters and replacement parts. Choose the basket before counting frame positions
With a tangential model such as the four-frame FUEGO, you extract one side before turning the frames to empty the other. Its universal basket accommodates Layens and Dadant frames, making it worth considering for deep combs. KADETT is also tangential, with three positions.
RITMO and MITO radial extractors arrange frames around the shaft and extract both sides during rotation. For the MITO Ø 640 mm, reference SN_530 is listed for 21 Dadant Blatt shallow frames or 12 American Langstroth frames; these capacities do not apply to Dadant brood frames. In reversible models such as MÁLAGA, the baskets pivot to work both sides without removing each frame by hand. The selection also includes manual reversible IBIZA, automatic reversible KUGA and radial FOCUS models.
A compact unit or a honey house with room to grow
ESPACE/REGATA sets with an integrated tank combine extraction and honey collection in one workstation. They save space and suit small harvests. A separate extractor and tank make it easier to alternate tanks, keep batches apart and continue extracting while another batch settles.
A filter catches wax particles; a tank allows honey to settle and surface foam to be removed. Size both to receive honey at the extractor’s output rate and avoid stops during emptying.
Keep the model and year to identify replacement parts
SAF supplies lids, hinges, controls, motors and transmission components. For an electrical replacement, the extractor’s commercial name is not enough: record the motor and controller references. The catalogue distinguishes, for example, MÁLAGA boards up to 2024 and ECO controls, helping you avoid parts from another generation.
