When you disassemble the extractor for a deep cleaning, it's not unusual to find parts showing signs of wear after so many harvests. One of the components that takes the most stress—though often overlooked—is the metal gear that transfers all the motor's power to the drum. If you hear strange noises, experience jerks, or notice a drop in power, this small gear could be the silent culprit.

This replacement is the original metal gear used in the SAF NATURA MÁLAGA reversible extractor Ø900 mm for 6 frames. It is made of machined steel with an anti-wear finish and features approximately 48 teeth, with an outer diameter of 70 mm and inner hole of 16.9 mm with keyway for secure mounting on the shaft.

It fits perfectly in the MÁLAGA extractor's transmission system, whether manual or motorized with HE-02N controller, and is built to withstand the torque inversion of the reversible system without deformation or play.

Apiary tip: If you're replacing this gear, also inspect the motor pinion and drive shaft. A new gear on a worn shaft won’t solve the issue.
