SAF MITO SN_530 electric radial honey extractor for 21 Dadant Blatt super frames or 12 Langstroth frames, with an 18/10 stainless steel radial basket.
The radial arrangement extracts honey from both sides of each frame during the same cycle, avoiding the need to turn every frame.
01 · LOADING AND STARTING
Distribute frames of similar weight throughout the basket and start at low speed. Increase the rotation gradually. If vibration occurs, stop the cycle completely and correct the load: forcing an unbalanced basket can damage new combs and subject the machine to unnecessary stress.
02 · TWO LOADING METHODS
The radial basket holds 21 Dadant Blatt super frames or 12 Langstroth frames. The manual also covers the tangential extraction of 3 Dadant Blatt brood frames, or frames up to 300 mm, using additional special cages made of stainless steel. These cages are not included as standard: check that they are available if you need to work with brood frames.
03 · BEFORE YOU BUY
The measurements Ø 600 mm and 400 mm in height refer to the internal basket, not to the external footprint of the extractor or its packaging. If installation space, doorway width or transport constraints affect your choice, request the external dimensions of the complete unit first. Do not open the transparent lids until the basket has come to a complete stop.
