SAF Eco control board for honey extractors

If your SAF extractor has suddenly stopped in the middle of extraction, in most cases the problem is not the motor but the control box. Most faults we see in the workshop come from here: the electronic board that controls speed and direction.

This board is the brain of the SAF Eco motors, the classic grey or black motors used on many small and medium extractors such as Ibiza, Kadett, Regata or Fuego. Over the years, moisture in the honey room and voltage spikes can damage some components. Replacing the whole motor is expensive and often unnecessary; swapping the board is the smart way to bring the machine back to life at a fraction of the cost.

SAF has made this job quite easy. If you are at least a bit familiar with your extractor, replacement is straightforward:

• Open the control box.
• Take a picture of the wiring on the old board with your phone.
• Disconnect the old board, plug in the new one copying the same cable positions and close the box.

In a few minutes you can have the extractor spinning again and the honey flowing from the tap.

This is an original SAF electronic board for the Eco motor line, compatible with extractors such as Regata, Ritmo, Racing, Kadett, Fuego, Ibiza and similar models manufactured roughly between 2010 and 2024. It is a simple plug and play replacement, as long as you respect the original wiring layout.
