Speed, time and spin direction, programmed

The programmer is what separates a large extractor from a plain spinner: instead of watching the dial, you set the cycle — speed, duration and direction — and the machine repeats it load after load. That matters more than it sounds when the honey changes: a thick honey wants a slow start and a longer cycle, a runny one comes out in less. With the cycle set, extraction stops depending on who happens to be standing at the machine.

02 · COMPATIBILITY

For the 900 mm SAF range: MÁLAGA, XSARA, FOCUS and ULISSE

This is the box fitted to the SAF Ø 900 mm family: MÁLAGA, XSARA, FOCUS and ULISSE. The reference installation is 220 V single-phase, and the motor it drives is the 150 W SAF unit; that is the combination it was built for. On other brands, or with a different motor, it is not a drop-in swap: the box may well fit, but what has to match is the motor and the wiring.

03 · MAINTENANCE

If the fault is inside, the board is a separate part

Not every failure means buying the whole box. In many cases what goes is the internal circuit board — damp in the honey house and voltage spikes take their toll — and that board is sold on its own, both for the MÁLAGA and for the Eco motor line. Before replacing the complete unit, it is worth opening the case and looking: if the board is the problem, the repair costs a great deal less.

04 · BEFORE YOU BUY

This is a specific replacement, not a universal controller: before ordering, confirm the exact model of your extractor and the power and voltage of the motor you have fitted. If your machine is not one of the four 900 mm SAF models, or if the motor runs at low voltage, send us the model and a photo of your current box before buying — it is the quickest way to avoid ordering the wrong part.
