Details of Honey Settling Tank 1000kg St steel

Large-capacity SAF NATURA settling tank for holding and settling up to 1,000 kg of honey. Made from 18/10 stainless steel, it combines a cylindrical body, conical base, lid and stainless-steel tap.

Approximate dimensions are Ø900 × 1,240 mm. This is honey-room equipment: access, base, discharge height and floor load must all be planned before delivery, rather than checking the diameter alone.

01 · PLAN THE INSTALLATION

Check doors, floor and working height before filling

Check the entire route to the final position and allow room to remove the lid, clean the inside and operate the tap. A load of up to one tonne of honey requires a level surface with suitable load-bearing capacity. The base or stand must be sized for the full tank and place the receiving vessel or filling line at the correct height.

02 · SETTLING

Allow time for air and light particles to rise

Fill with previously filtered honey while avoiding drops that introduce air, then keep the tank covered while the honey rests. The required time varies with temperature, viscosity, moisture and particle load. A settling tank does not replace filtration or correct honey that is fermented, overheated or has unsuitable moisture.

03 · EMPTYING AND ACCESSORIES

The conical base helps guide honey towards the outlet

Open the tap gradually and control the flow to suit the honey viscosity and receiving vessel. SAF has supplied different outlet generations on this model, so do not choose a non-drip valve, hose or adaptor from the name 64/E alone: confirm the diameter, thread and current tap version before adding accessories.

04 · HYGIENE BETWEEN BATCHES

Clean the valve, seals and outlet area as well

Empty the product, dismantle only the parts intended for cleaning and use a procedure suitable for food-contact surfaces. Rinse, dry completely and inspect joints, base and tap before the next batch. Do not use abrasive tools that could scratch the steel, and do not close the tank while residual moisture remains.

05 · BEFORE YOU BUY

Tank, lid and tap; stand and strainers supplied separately

The documented supply includes the settling tank, lid and stainless-steel tap. The stand, strainers, hoses and filling accessories are not listed as included. If the tank will join an existing installation, confirm the configuration and outlet fitted to the available unit with the sales team.
