Stainless-steel stand for supporting a frame during uncapping over a compatible tub, drum or bench. It creates a raised working point for holding and turning the frame while honey and cappings fall into the container, instead of forcing you to work directly on its rim.
Centre the stand on a firm support and place the frame in the intended position. Before cutting, check that the assembly cannot rock or slide into the container. To change faces, lift and turn the frame; do not force it against the support.
Its recorded dimensions are 49 × 46 × 0.5 cm. The current product information associates it with 50 cm and 1 m uncapping benches, plastic tubs and drums, but the fit depends on the actual opening of the container. Measure the available support and ensure that both sides have a safe bearing margin.
Remove wax and honey before they dry at the joints. Wash with a non-scratching utensil, rinse and dry. This stand supports the frame; the vessel below remains responsible for collecting and separating the cappings.
