When working with Layens hives or fixed apiaries where transporting the frames to the honey house isn’t an option, extracting directly in the field becomes essential. That’s where this 18V battery control panel shines: it lets you operate your extractor without mains power or generators.

It’s also perfect for small rooms or mobile setups with limited access to electrical outlets. Just plug in a compatible 18V battery (like the ones used in power tools), and you’re ready to extract honey wherever you are.

What is this product? It’s an alternative control panel that replaces the standard wired version. It fits directly onto LYSON BASIC and MINIMA extractors with a top-mounted motor, and once installed, it powers the motor and allows you to control its speed. All you need is a battery to get started.

Compatible with POWER FOR ALL 18V batteries (2.5Ah or 4.0Ah) – not included – the unit provides up to 5 hours of runtime with a 4.0Ah battery. It works with common tool batteries like those from Bosch.

It includes two LEDs: a green one to show the controller is active, and a red one to alert you when the battery is low. Speed is adjusted with a smooth dial, letting you adapt easily to different types of frames and honey conditions.

Installation: it mounts in place of the original controller on the extractor lid. Power cables connect to the motor as usual. Battery snaps into the bottom of the unit. No special tools or skills needed – quick and easy swap.

Note: this product is only the control panel. Battery and charger are not included. Only compatible with LYSON MINIMA and BASIC extractors with top-mounted motors. Not for use with CLASSIC/PREMIUM lines or side-mounted motors.
