01 · A SUPPLEMENT, NOT A MEDICINE

Food supplements for bees and veterinary medicines are two different things with different rules. This product is in the first category: it is used as a nutritional support, within management, and its role is to back the general condition of the colony.

If you suspect a disease, the route is the vet and a diagnosis, not a supplement. We say so here because this family of products attracts all kinds of claims, and we would rather you bought knowing exactly what you are getting.

02 · TWO DOSES, TEN DAYS APART

Repeated in spring and in early autumn

The maker specifies 1 ml of Nozevit+ per 200 ml of 1:1 syrup, given with the feed. It can also be mixed into fondant or sugar paste, or applied by sprinkling over the bees.

The schedule is two doses ten days apart in spring and two more, at the same interval, in early autumn. The ten days between doses are part of the schedule, not a loose suggestion: a single application is not how the product is designed to work.

03 · €73 A LITRE AGAINST €118

Which is the only reason to buy the drum

In the one-litre bottle the price works out at €118 a litre; in this 21-litre container, at €73.55. That is nearly forty euros less per litre, and against the 50 ml bottle — which comes out above €300 a litre — the difference stops being arguable.

The format only makes sense if you are going to use it: this is product for a professional operation or for an association group buy, shared among members. With twenty hives, the litre is the right bottle.

04 · IF YOU WANT IT IN FONDANT

There is a ready-made alternative in the range

Mixing a liquid evenly into sugar paste is awkward, which is why there is a fondant with Nozevit already in it in a 20 kg format. If your management runs on candy rather than syrup, that is the direct route.

The drum is for those who feed syrup and dose it themselves, or who want to decide the concentration. Both options live in the range and do not compete: it depends on how you feed.

05 · WHAT IT CARRIES, WHAT TO CHECK

Plant ingredients and one prior verification

The formula is plant bark — the polyphenol source — mint oil, other essential oils, vitamins, citric acid and purified water. The maker formulates it not to leave residue in honey or wax.

And one check worth making before ordering: in organic production, what is admitted is set by Regulation (EU) 2018/848 and validated by your certifier, not by the label and not by us. Ask us and we will send you the product documentation to present.
