What decides whether it lasts three years or three months is not the vinyl: it is the state of the paintwork the day you put it on.

Laminated vinyl sticker with the silhouette of a beekeeper with a smoker, in black. 140 × 70 mm, for bodywork or glass.

01 · HOW TO APPLY IT

Alcohol, and from the centre outwards

Degrease the surface with alcohol, not with glass cleaner or polish: silicones and waxes leave an invisible film and the adhesive will not grip.

Apply above 10 °C — cold adhesive does not flow — press from the centre outwards, and then 48 hours without washing the car: that couple of days is how long the final grip takes.

02 · WHERE IT STICKS

Smooth surfaces

It works well on painted metal and glass, where the vinyl beds down fully. What does not work is the textured plastic of a bumper: there the adhesive only touches the peaks and it ends up lifting at a corner.

To remove it, warm it with a hairdryer and pull at a shallow angle. Pulling straight out is how it tears into pieces.

03 · WHY IT LASTS

The laminate is the layer that gets sacrificed

The laminate is a clear film over the printed vinyl, and it is what separates this from a bare print: it takes the sun and the brushes of the car wash, and wears away itself instead of the ink.

04 · BEFORE YOU BUY

It is a sticker:
