Wooden Lid with Honey Spoon for Diamond Jar

When you’ve got the jar on the table and the honey is at its best (not too runny, not already heavily crystallised), what really makes the difference isn’t the jar… it’s how you serve it. The idea is simple, but well executed: a dipper stick hangs inside the jar. Lift it out, it drips in a controlled way, and you can dose without sticky mess around the thread or endless honey strings on the table. It’s especially nice with thicker honeys (rosemary, thyme, forest). If the honey is very crystallised, gently warming the jar (soft bain-marie) makes serving much smoother.
