The compact cardboard board is a thin, absorbent support for apiary use. Unlike laminated cardboard — glued in layers —, this one is a single solid piece, so it is designed not to split into sheets when impregnated with water-based liquids. Strip format, 305 × 38 mm and 1.40 mm thick, easy to prepare and place.

💧 Compact: designed for water-based use

The difference from laminated cardboard is the structure: being compact (a single piece), it is designed not to split into layers when wetted, which is why it is recommended for water-based impregnation. Laminated cardboard, glued in sheets, suits vaseline-based mixes better. It is a thin cardboard: handle it carefully when wetting and placing it.
