01 · SULFATE-FREE IS NOT SURFACTANT-FREE

The label gets misread very often

Every liquid soap needs surfactants: they are the molecules that surround grease and let water carry it away. What this product declares it does not carry is the sulfate family — the harshest ones and the ones that dry the skin most with repeated use. Its base is olive oil, which cleans with less aggression on skin washed many times a day.

02 · NATURAL AND ORGANIC ARE NOT THE SAME

Two percentages measuring different things

This soap declares 100 % of ingredients of natural origin, and that is the maker's figure. It should not be confused with the organic-farming percentage: “natural” speaks of where the ingredient came from, “organic” of how it was grown. A product can be 100 % natural and have a low organic percentage, and the other way round.

03 · PROPOLIS AND ROSEMARY

Freshness and a discreet scent

Propolis and rosemary are the two declared actives: they leave a purifying freshness and a light scent — which on a workshop hand soap matters, because it is used before touching product. Dermatologically controlled, in a 300 ml bottle.
