01 · WHICH ONE IT IS

The lying figure, not the standing one

There are several Maya keyrings in the German catalogue and they are not the same: this is the lying bee, flat, 4 cm long by 3 high and 2 mm thick, in rubber with the printed design. We say so because a French customer received a different model from the one she wanted: if you are after the standing Maya or the RuBee one, those are other references.

02 · HOW TO USE IT

3 cm ring: opens at the end

The 3 cm metal ring opens at its end and the key slides round, without forcing the coils apart, which bends them. It works just as well on a backpack or pencil-case zip. Wipe with a damp cloth, no solvents or heat, and keep an eye on the join between figure and ring, which is what loosens with time.

03 · WHO IT IS FOR

Detail, gift and counter

A small gift for children who already have keys, for anyone named Maya, for the shop counter or the Christmas honey basket. It has small parts: not a toy for small children. An Italian review bought it for friends with a motorbike called Maya.
