Building block set from the Lyson For Kids series, the anatomical one: about 200 ABS plastic pieces (203 according to Lyson’s box) to build a bee of real proportions and colours, brown and amber, with translucent wings, articulated legs and antennae. Medium difficulty, for children from 6; it has small parts and is not for under-3s. Compatible with the other two sets of the series (3067, 3066).

Of the three sets in the series it is the one closest to what you see when you lift a frame: no big eyes or loud yellow, a bee with head, thorax and abdomen where they belong.

01 · WHAT IS BUILT

A bee with real anatomy

The figure reproduces the real structure: head with antennae and mandibles, thorax with the wings and the three pairs of legs, banded abdomen, in brown and amber like Apis mellifera and not in cartoon yellow. Built, it serves to point out each body part with the child in front, and stands on its own on a shelf without falling apart.

02 · WHO IT IS FOR

From 6, in one session; not for under-3s

With about 200 pieces it is the medium-difficulty set of the series: more of a challenge than the 85-piece one and much shorter than the 562; it is built in one unhurried session, for children from 6 who have done a simple set. Like any block set it has small parts: not for children under 3.

It is the middle one of the three Lyson For Kids sets and compatible with the others: the bee on sunflowers, 85 pieces (3067), to start, and the queen with two bees, 562 (3066), for several sessions.
