Viewing both sides of a frame allows you to explain brood rearing, storage, and behaviour without opening a whole hive. This Layens observation hive for one frame combines a wooden structure with two transparent sides.

👁️ One frame visible from both sides

The methacrylate allows you to follow the movement of the bees and point out areas of the honeycomb during a presentation. It is useful in schools, fairs, courses, or exhibitions where the observation is supervised by a beekeeper.

🌡️ Shade, ventilation, and limited time

If used with live bees, avoid direct sunlight and accumulated heat, maintain the required ventilation, and limit the time spent away from the original colony. Continuously monitor temperature and behaviour.
