Details of Creamed Honey Mixer "Rasant"

The Rasant is an all-stainless-steel honey mixer with a special 9 cm paddle and a 10 mm hexagonal shaft, designed to work with high shear forces.

Its total length of 60 cm makes it possible to homogenise or prepare creamed honey in vessels where a short tool would force the operator to work too close to the product.

01 · RASANT GEOMETRY

9 cm paddle and 10 mm hexagonal shaft

The paddle does not measure 9 mm: its diameter is 9 cm. This surface transfers movement through the honey, while the 10 mm hexagonal end provides a positive grip in a compatible chuck. The complete tool is made from stainless steel and has a total shaft length of 60 cm.

02 · CREAMED HONEY

Distribute the seed; do not replace process control

Making creamed honey is not a matter of beating hard until the texture changes. It is controlled crystallisation: the tool helps distribute fine seed crystals and homogenise the mass, but the result also depends on the honey variety, its initial condition, temperature, time and mixing cycles.

Keep the paddle fully submerged while it rotates and avoid creating a deep vortex. This reduces air intake, foam and bubbles that can complicate filling and spoil the presentation.

03 · HOW TO USE IT

Start slowly and adapt the cycle to the honey

Use a stable vessel with an internal opening wider than 9 cm and enough depth to keep the paddle below the surface. Start at low speed, increase only as needed and work in cycles to monitor texture and temperature. Do not force the tool into a hard block of crystallised honey; condition the mass first so it can be mixed without overloading the drive.

04 · HYGIENE AND SAFETY

Clean immediately and handle only with the drive stopped

Disconnect the machine before fitting, removing, cleaning or inspecting the mixer. Avoid loose clothing and keep hands and utensils out of the vessel while it is rotating. Wash and dry the stainless steel after every batch; honey residues are easiest to remove before they dry, and a dry tool helps prevent contamination of the next process.

05 · BEFORE YOU BUY

Check the chuck: the drive machine is not included

You receive the Rasant mixer only. The hand mixer or drive machine, vessel and other accessories are not included. Check that the chuck accepts and securely holds a 10 mm hexagonal shaft, and that the machine has suitable speed control and torque for the viscosity and volume you plan to process.
